Terrier Silhouette Throw Pillow, Recycled Wool Tweed

I created this Terrier silhouette throw pillow using recycled tweed taken from vintage clothing that had seen better days.
- The color of the tweed is a medium blue and if you look carefully in the light, you can see some red/mauve flecks.
- I added a plaid tab taken from the waistband of a skirt that has camel, light blue and pink colors. I topped it with with a vintage leather button.
- The terrier dog was cut from light gray felt and sewn on by machine.
- I added a row of hand stitching down the middle for added detail.
- The backing is a navy blue linen fabric that I salvaged.
- You have the option to purchase the pillow cover only or to purchase the cover and insert as a complete pillow.
- This pillow cover will fit on a standard 14" size insert. I have used a duck down insert for the photos and if you order the pillow with the insert, that is what you will receive.
- Dry clean or spot clean is recommended. Gentle hand wash is okay too.

- All of the pillow covers for sale here at Smokin’ Tweed are made using a serger machine and reinforcement stitches are added inside the back flaps for extra durability. I make my covers approximately 1 inch smaller than the size stated so that when the pillow forms are inserted, the covers fit snugly and don’t sag.
